The challenge
Summer temperatures exceeded the safe range for concrete placement, meaning the basement slabs could not be poured during the working day without compromising the concrete.
Delivery
Maveric resequenced the programme and placed the basement slabs outside peak temperatures. The 4,000m³ concrete foundation works were coordinated across the placing crews, formwork and reinforcement teams, alongside contaminated-soil removal, dewatering and installation of the underground network.
Safety & quality
Concrete was placed at night to keep conditions within the specified curing range. Contaminated soil was tested and removed under controlled conditions. Supporting ITP and testing evidence remains TO CONFIRM for publication.
Outcome
The package delivered the foundation bases and underground services network. Further verified outcome measures remain TO CONFIRM.
